And yet I wonder if anyone learned the first time. Mixing fashion and Hollywood celebrities is not a good mix. Sure, it might make for good tales for our posterity, but honestly what else is this but fodder for blogs like us? Really Lohan? Or should I say, really Pascal Mouawad? As if her original debut with Ungaro weren’t enough (see here for our coverage of her collection), now Mouawad, a famous jeweler has partnered with her.
Oh and did I mention that Ungaro is going to keep Lohan?
I really have to agree with designer Chalayan when he condemned any sort of matrimony between the two. I’m not claiming that a designer can’t be a Hollywood celebrity. But in general, let’s try to keep this mutually exclusive. Oil and vinegar, while great on the bread of society, don’t really mix that well.
This could be the potential result:

Yes people, those are Lohan’s creations.

Oh wow…I don’t understand…
But I guess it’s somewhat good that Ungaro is keeping her on…they’re only paying her with clothes, so at least they won’t be fueling her latest relapse…
and since she completely ruined their collection, giving her “payment” would be like inventory control so they don’t have to pay holding costs.
