Classic low, black pumps. perfect for just about anything. Whether you pair these with jeans or a slinky little dress, you really can't go wrong.

Another pair of sweet little black pumps, with an added twist! Again, perfect for the office or wearing around town.

Okay, a pair like this with a special little oomph needs a simple outfit. Clean lines, nothing incredibly geometric. Pair with bold colors or a classic print.

Personally, I feel that a pair like these is just screaming for some visible leg to show them off. Go for a dress, skirt or even an elegant skirt suit.

When it comes to a pair with as much detail as these, again, shoot for some leg to go with them. If they are dark, like these, avoid anything too pastel and Taylor Swift-y. These are a little too serious for a sundress.

WARNING! When wearing t-strap pumps, beware! sometimes, they break the leg of the line and make your legs look short, not mile-high. However, they can be incredibly adorable and ever-so retro appropriate. Just double check those gams before you walk out the door!

Alright, into Heidi Klum land. Sweet and sexy shooties. Sometimes amazing, sometimes, they just look tacky. Depending on the color/material, be careful about what kind of outfit you pair them with. Like these, I would recommend a pair of straight or skinny jeans in a dark blue, grey or black. Keep your accessories simple and aim for a bright color on top. Also, make sure your toes are looking public-friendly before heading out in these.

Okay, futuristic peep-toe (or not) booties. Wear these with pants! dominatrix buckles like these don't really pair well with a skirt and any dress would have to be incredibly well-paired. These are fierce catwalk stompin' shoes.

Moving into the surprisingly exciting land of nude shoes. A pair like this with a little added detail and contrast would go beautifully with a nicely structured skirt. Perhaps a well tailored tweed or houndstooth.

A softer, sweeter shade of suede. These are a little more simple, a little more understated. They would pair beautifully with almost anything. Like any classic pair of pumps, day to night -- jeans to dress. Also, a pair as spartan as these welcomes some incredible detail on your outfit. I'm seeing a sleeveless, teal sheath dress with lots of interest around the neckline.

A patent nude. Simple and modern. Again, these could really go with anything, but i would pair them with brighter, more fussy colors with few complimentary colors. Think neons or corals. Even jewel tones.

This kind of shoe needs to be the focus of an outfit. Completely covered in sequins with an adorable bow detail -- wear these with a dress. Somethings matte or with a little sheen. Stay away from any incredibly obvious prints. stick with black, tan/taupe or jewel tones. No pastels/brights, please!

A much more manageable metallic. A shoe like this is pretty friendly to all outfits. if the shoe is a simple style you definitely have free range with all aspects of your clothing. However, if the shoes are metallic with a good bit of detail, I would suggest pairing them with a simpler outfit. Like how these shoes have bows, definitely DO NOT wear a dress with a bow on the neckline, (etc.)

Again, the perfect little pumps for almost any occasion, only this time in red! Great with just about anything in your wardrobe.

Taking sweet, little pumps to the next level we have shoes like these. Close to sky-high and an added touch of sex with a detail like animal print. Shoes like these are just as versatile as they're shorter counterparts, but for the daredevil within.

Moving to the proper peep-toed pumps, remember, again, to make sure you're toes are looking just as sweet as your shoes. Peeps are pretty much as basic as a good pair of closed-toe pumps. Use the same guide lines when pairing with your outfits.

Cage shoes, meeeee-ow. Shoes in this style can go with pants or skirts. As with any heavy-looking shoe, be careful what you pair you with. Try not to wear any air-whipped, voluminous tulle dress with these.

A slightly more tame alternative to the cage-style sandal. A little softer and sweeter, perfectly compatible with most any outfit. Keep the t-strap rule in mind when considering shoes like these.

A really fun twist on a basic shoe. I would definitely wear these to work with a nice pencil skirt.

Okay, so, regardless of the all-over metallic embroidery, these shoes are still elegant in their wild green tones. I would suggest wearing these with a black dress, or something simple. Don't compete with the meticulous detail in these pumps.

when I read this, it reminded me of the summer obsession with Louboutin nude pumps, whose purpose is to appear barely there and elongate legs.
Lusting for the Dolce and Gabbana red stiletto pumps…
The D&G’s are to die for and Christian Louboutin is the master of shoes.
