Today is Monday. In high school, my friends and I deemed the dreaded Monday as “sweat day”, which soon became nearly every day as the senioritis settled in. Those were dark days in terms of fashion.
This year, I pledged against prioritizing comfort over style. However, the recent drop in temperatures makes it more and more difficult for me to drag myself out of bed in the morning and not pull on an old silkline hoodie (sweatpants are only for those extreme circumstances, as I generally don’t wear pants anymore).
But lounge wear doesn’t have to be sloppy and shapeless. To remain loyal to my pledge, I sought out comfortable yet stylish pieces…

These are a great pant alternative. Thigh-high socks exemplify laid-back sexiness, elongating the legs and showing just the right amount of skin. I love these with some good ol’ Soffe shorts for a sporty vibe.

I love V-neck tees on both guys and girls. For girls, a slightly oversized V-neck tee can make even the craziest bedhead hair look good by highlighting the delicacy and appeal of your collarbone.

As a swimmer, I’ve always had a thing for racerback swimsuits. Naturally, this carried over to my choice of tank top. Whenever I actually work out (which hasn’t been very often recently heh), I feel great showing off my toned arms, shoulders, and back wearing a racerback.
